Around the world in recent years to reduce the alarming number of bees and so far no one knew what was the cause. Although the bees not found any disease, their number is decreasing dramatically. So far, among the possible causes cited unidentified viruses, pesticides, genetic engineering of seeds and climate change, but for which no evidence.
The disappearance of a large number of bees began to notice the decline in stocks of fruit and vegetables which have contributed most just bee pollination, according to the Telegraph.
Scientists from the University of Punjab in India have made an experiment in which they turn two hives of bees. In a hive they put a mobile phone where the call twice a day to simulate a period of 15 minutes. In another hive put imitation mobile phones that did not give any signal.
After three months, scientists have discovered that the number of bees in the hive with an active mobile phone significantly reduced. Bees exposed to radiation of mobile phones have behaved strangely, hatched significantly fewer eggs and did not produce honey.
This experiment, scientists in Punjab confirmed several years mentioned the possibility that mobile phones are to blame for such a rapid extinction of bees in the world.
